In March 2022, I made a life-changing decision to prioritise adventure over the familiar comforts of my everyday life. I sold all my belongings, stepped away from routine, and took a leap into the unknown. This bold move marked the beginning of a transformative journey of self-discovery, solo travel, and adventure.

On 1st November 2022, I launched my YouTube channel, Nan with a Backpack, with no set plan other than to create magic memories and hopefully inspire others to embrace the exhilaration of solo exploration.

Now, at 56, I’ve found a newfound sense of joy, independence, and confidence in traveling the world, proving that it’s never too late to rewrite your story, chase your dreams, and live life on your own terms.
